Tues: Today we wrapped up our tree study. We really enjoyed seeing all of the projects! Great job to all of you! Today we put some snow in our sensory bin students used watercolor to paint the snow using droppers. We read I Don't Like Winter a story about 2 squirrel friends where one loves the cold and the other does not.
Wed: We had so much fun learning about clothes and talking about clothes that keep us warm in the snow. We read Caps for Sale. We enjoyed playing in the snow in the sensory bin and changing it colors.
Thurs: We began a new SEL goal: Solving problems. We discussed big vs little problems. We discussed colors of our clothes. During small group we practiced rhyming, building with magnatiles, and worked on our nutcracker project. We read The Gingerbread Disguise a fun book about how the gingerbread can disguise herself so she won't be eaten!
