Grading in Algebra and Geometry will be based on:

Assessments - 60% of grade; announced at least 4 days before.  Tests 35% and Quizzes 25%

Classwork and Participation - 30% of grade

Homework - You will receive homework almost every night.  The homework assignment will be posted on our Google Classroom.  A few times a week I will check homework.  I will not announce when I am going to check homework. 

Homework Grades

100% =  all homework problems attempted and work shown

85% =  partial work/missing problems

70% = turned in the next day or later

0% = no homework

*If you do not have the homework assignment during class, but show it to me by the end of the day, you will receive an 85%.

Each marking period you will receive a Free Homework Pass, which must be turned in when I come around to check homework. Missing homeworks can be made up until the end of the marking period that we are currently in.
